I just got back from a solo drink at the Plough And Stars, a bar right across from where I live in Cambridge. The Bad Art Ensamble, a local band, was playing their normal Wednesday night gig. I noticed an older guy with a (hollow) metal peg leg, in place of his right leg below his knee, was sitting down. To my surprise, he took off his peg leg, and started blowing into his peg leg aimed at the singer's mic. (The Plough And Stars is a very small bar, with no stage, and you're literally sitting right next to the band.) It was pretty loud when miked, and didn't sound much different from blowing through a cardboard tube, but it was incredibly amusing.

He also proved that he has good balance, and can easily spin on his peg leg, when he got up and did some fancy leg work dancing.
